Get Updates

When you subscribe to my blog, you get updates whenever I publish new articles that you might be interested in. That way, you don't have to check in for updates, and you can still get a hold of all of my wonderful posts. I created this page to deal with some of the privacy and technical issues of subscribing to my blog.

Privacy concerns:
Many people don't want to give out personal information online, which is a good idea. However, you need little to no personal information to subscribe to my blog. I don't receive any personal information about you, and no one else does either.

Subscribing by email:
Subscribing by email is a fast and easy way to get access to all of the new content for Travelers of All Ages. All you need to do is type your email address into the box labeled "Follow by Email" located in the sidebar on the right hand side of the page. Then, click the link sent to your email address to verify that you're the right person. It's that easy!

Subscribing by RSS or Atom feed:
Feed is another way to keep up with updates to my blog, by either using your favorite websites (like Google and Yahoo) or your browser. Feed is a little harder to set up than an email subscription, but has a lot of benefits. First, you don't have to give your email address, and secondly, you can keep track of many feeds all in one place. I found a good explanation of Feeds here. To subscribe to my blog using Feed, first locate the box reading "Follow my Blog!" in the sidebar on the right hand side of the page. Then, select the drop-down under either Posts or All Comments, depending on which one you want to follow, and chose your favorite site to use as feed reader. Currently, I offer Google, NetVibes, NewsGator, and Yahoo. If you don't want to use on of these sites, click Atom. When you click Atom, your browser will notify you of any updates, rather than a web reader like Google. And that's it! You will receive updates to any of my new posts or articles.
